Prof. Neil Robertson (in charge of global collaboration) and Ms. Grace Guan (Director of East Asia Regional Collaboration) from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK) visited Nagoya University and inspected the Glycobiocore Research Institute on the 8th floor of the EI Emergent Engineering Building.
Dr. Hirabayashi, Associate Professor, and others explained about iGCORE's activities, research results, technologies, and the Human Glycome Project. The tour was followed by a visit to a mass spectrometer, an automated glycan pretreatment system, and other facilities. They showed interest in the project contributing to health, and exchanged opinions about future collaboration in various forms.
